Here’s how getting an implant works:

Treatment planning

It all starts with a consultation with our friendly implant experts. We will take X-rays, perform an oral exam, and discuss your unique treatment needs and goals. If we determine that implants are the best option, we will create a personalized treatment plan to help you achieve your goals. Depending on your needs, you may receive single tooth implants or All-on-4 implants. Next, we will schedule your implant surgery.

Implant placement

Implants consist of titanium posts that are inserted beneath the gum line and into the jawbone. This happens during a quick and simple surgical procedure. Your dentist will numb your mouth and administer sedation for a totally comfortable, pain-free experience. Over the next few months, the implant will begin to fuse to the jawbone. This fusion creates a natural and stable base for your replacement tooth.

Implant restoration

Once your mouth has had time to heal after your surgery, you will return to have your implant restored. This process involves the placement of a custom-designed crown, bridge, or denture over the base that fits perfectly to restore the smile. Once placed, your implant will look, feel, and function just like a natural tooth. Get back to eating what you want, when you want!

What happens if I don’t get an implant?

Missing teeth make it difficult to properly eat your food, leading to digestive problems and nutritional deficiencies. After you lose a tooth, your jaw will also begin to shrink, which will cause your facial muscles to sag.

Do you offer financing?

Yes, we do! Our office has partnered with CareCredit to provide you with affordable loans that you can pay back on a monthly basis. That way you get the care you need now and back as you go! We also offer interest-free in-house payment plans to help you cover the cost of your care.

How many appointments will it take to get implants?

You will visit our office 3-4 times during your dental implant treatment experience. The full process includes your initial consultation, treatment planning, surgery, and follow-ups to check on your progress.

Do implants hurt?

Getting an implant involves a minor surgical procedure, during which your dentist will insert the implants into your jawbone. Be sure to follow the post-operative care instructions we provide you with to ensure a comfortable recovery.
